The Swedish wolverine project conducts studies of wolverine ecology in a remote, roadless, rugged, and mountainous part of northern Sweden. The project started in 1993 with capture and radio marking a handful of wolverines the first years. Since then, more than 250 wolverine have been marked and monitored, including the ability to follow several generations of females with offspring.
